Audrey Travis is an internationally exhibited artist living and working in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Travis recieved her MFA in sculpture from Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, TX) and a BFA in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design (Savannah, GA) and has participated in residencies at Kunstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin, Germany and Hilmsen Atelier House Fine Arts Residency in Hilmsen, Germany. Most recently, Travis was awarded funding from Red Bull Art’s Microgrant program and was a finalist in the Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas’s CADD Fund and the Nasher Sculpure Center’s 2021 Microgrants. Her work and travel has been funded by several organizations including the Dallas Museum of Art, Mercedes Benz Financial Services, CADD, and Texas Christian University. Her current work explores monumentality through material, scale, and space.
